Making a Splash: The Summer Scoop at The Melbourne Preschool!

Here at The Melbourne Preschool, summer isn’t just a season—it’s a splash-tastic adventure! While Florida turns up the sunshine, we’re turning up our schedule for a jam-packed summer program full of themed weeks, workshops, special guests, and so much fun it might just burst out of your beach bag! 🏖️

Here’s a peek at what we’re up to this summer:

🎨 Weekly Themes & Workshops Galore!
From jungle safaris to outer space, each week brings something new—along with visits from our favorite special guests:

🫧 Foam Party
⚽ Space Coast Sports Workshops
🐾 Brevard Zoo (roarrr!)
🚀 NASA (hello, astronauts!)
🐢 Barrier Island Sanctuary
🦙 Petting farms (yes, real animals!)
👩‍🚒 Local Fire Department (truck and all!)
👵 Senior Story Time (stories & hugs from our favorite local grandparents)

Weekly staples include:

🎬 Monday Movies:
We’re washing away the Monday blues with a movie on our big projector: a cozy classroom cinema experience! Each movie is posted on the monthly calendar for parents to review so you know exactly what your kiddo will be watching. For ages 3+

🌊 Water Play Wednesdays:
Bring your swimsuit and your sunscreen—Wednesdays are all about water toys, sprinklers, and the occasional foam party (yes, we said foam party... and yes, the kids love it!)

🍓 Frozen Fridays:
At the end of each week we’ll be cooling down with our homemade fruit popsicles made by our own Chef Nicole! They're colorful, delicious, healthy- and most importantly a fan-favorite amongst our students.

Every week of our busy summer has a theme, so each week is different and exciting! Some of our themes include:
STEM, Cooking, Outer Space, Safari, Sports, Florida Animals, Red White & Blue Week (Happy Birthday USA!), Art, Dance…and many more!
