Small but Mighty: Best of Brevard Finalist — Again!
Hello friends!
We have some amazing news- and we’re pinching ourselves over here at The Melbourne Preschool — for the third year in a row, we’ve been named a Florida Today’s Best of Brevard finalist! 🎉
How did this all come about you may wonder? Well it all started back in 2023 when we opened our inbox to a very surprising email:
"Congratulations! You’ve been nominated for Best Childcare!"
We were honestly stunned. In a county with over 250 early childhood centers — many of them big, well-known schools we well as national franchises — we never expected our cozy little center to make the list. But there we were! And after a competitive voting round and crossing our fingers- we made it to the Top 3 Finalists! We had the privilege of attending the Best of Brevard Gala with all of the other finalists in the county- and had another surreal moment when we were in Publix doing our weekend grocery shopping, and opened up Florida Today’s Sunday paper to see The Melbourne Preschool looking back at us!
Fast forward to 2024... and it happened again!
And now, in 2025, we’re absolutely blown away — we are nominated for:

Best Preschool
Best Locally Owned Business
and Best Place to Work! 🎈
FOUR categories! What an incredible honor!
We may be small, local, and homey — but boy, are we mighty. 💪
And it’s all thanks to you — our wonderful families, our amazing staff, and our incredible community.

We are over the moon to be nominated again and we’re so excited for the voting round, which kicks off on May 14.
